  • Anonymous donations: if you donate anonymously, we do not require personal identifying details (beyond what is necessary to process the payment)

3.3 Recurring (Auto) Donations / Subscriptions

If you set up recurring donations, we collect and store information needed to manage your schedule, including:

  • Donor name (optional) and contact details (email and/or phone)
  • Subscription amount
  • Frequency and/or duration (start date, interval, end date if applicable)
  • Your chosen reminder/notification preference (SMS or email)
  • Subscription status (active, paused, cancelled, expired)

Note: We do not store your full card or mobile money credentials in our database if a payment provider is used. Payment details may be handled directly by the payment processor based on their systems.

3.4 Communication and Notifications

We may send you donation reminders, receipts (if requested), impact updates, and donor-related announcements via your selected channel (SMS and/or email). To do this, we may process:

  • Email address and/or phone number
  • Message delivery logs (e.g., sent/failed timestamps)
